Health and fitness apps are aplenty on the App Store but if you’ve been hopping from one great app to the next, who can blame you. There is no one right way of keeping fit and what works one may not suit another.
Adidas knows that, which is probably why they are out with a new health and fitness app called All Day – Total Fitness & Wellbeing. The idea behind the app is to help you discover ways to move your body, eat healthy and develop a health conscious mindset that will help you stay in the best health all day, everyday.
Adidas’ All Day – Total Fitness & Wellbeing makes this possible by focusing on the 4 Pillars for Well Being ;-

Here’s more on how the app aims to help you be fit and well everyday.
All Day Total Fitness & Wellbeing Features
All Day has a Discoveries section loaded with valuable videos and audios that offer guidance and inspiration on the 4 pillars from industry experts. Contributions include sessions from experts like yoga guru Adriene Mishler, wellness chef Candice Kumai, and fitness trainer Stephen Cheluk.
The Nutrition Section
This section helps you discover nutritious recipes that will boost your immunity and keep you energetic throughout the day. Research shows that processed foods not only lack beneficial nutrients, they also contain ingredients that are extremely harmful. So the best way to replenish your body after a strenuous workout is to prepare your own meals.
New York based chef Candice Kumai shows you how to make quick, tasty and healthy meals in the All Day Simple Clean Eating program. Each recipe features great non-processed protein sourced dishes combined with carbs and antioxidant-packed vegetables that benefit a body after a work out.
The Movement Section
This section helps you find new ways to do certain things you usually give up on, like incorporating yoga into your daily routine. Research suggests that doing 20 minutes of basic yoga poses can improve your running performance, strengthen muscles and help prevent injuries. And renowned yoga instructor Adriene Mishler shows you just that through her 5-minute yoga sessions.
The Mindset Section
This section shows you how to cultivate a balanced mind and reduce stress with guided meditation sessions or mindful breathing exercises. Regular meditation helps bring in a feeling of calmness, positivity and focus.
Expert Robyn Long offers 5 to 15 minute meditation sessions that helps you cultivate a meditation practice and transform how you feel. There are exercises to focus your thoughts or empty your thoughts and depending on your goal, you can choose what works best for you.
The Rest Section
This section helps you unwind and give your body the rest it needs with offerings like soothing music or boring stories that will let you drift off to sleep.
No matter how hard you workout, your body cannot be in a state of well being if you don’t get quality rest. Instead of relying on medication, listening to music can help you sleep better, with no negative side effects.
In All Day, DJ Nina Las Vegas offers 7 different 1-hour tracks to listen to. These compositions help reduce cortisol levels, which in turn lowers heart rate and blood pressure. Additionally, relaxing music can have a positive effect on the duration of rapid eye movement sleep (REM) and deep sleep.
The Activity Tracking section lets you record all your activities including gym sessions, spin classes and other workouts. Metrics like calories burned, distance ran, and steps walked are automatically incorporated. The app also helps you keep track of your sleep and gives you tips on on how to sleep better.
Plus, you can also set reminders for your various activities and build good health and fitness habits everyday.
