BookBook Vol 2 MacBook Case – Slimmer & Stronger

The latest version of BookBook is made exclusively for the new USB-C MacBooks. It sports a slimmer silhouette (by almost 42%) and a much stronger spine. The coolest feature of the case though is the hidden portfolio pocket that will allow you to carry paperwork and important documents like reports, contracts and such, right underneath your Mac.
All you need to do is lift up the BookBook tab to reveal the hidden compartment. Twelve South recommends carrying between 10 and 20 pages or materials with like-thickness. iPads are a no-no and magazines will be too thick for them as well.
The BookBook case offers complete protection for your Mac. The insides of the case have a soft, velvet microfiber lining to prevent scratches. When you’ve completed your work for the day, you can zip the BookBook case to close it. Two hardback book covers with reinforced corners and a tough-as-steel spine provide the outside protection.
BookBook offers the convenience of using your Mac inside the case. There are 2 elastic bands on the inside cover of the case. When you place your MacBook inside the case, you must slip these bands over the corners of the screen. Next time when you open your BookBook, the MacBook screen will open along with it. You can then start typing and interacting without having to remove the Mac from the case.
The BookBook is made of premium oil-pull up leather. Its meticulous handcrafting ensures that no two cases are alike. The dual zippers with leather pulls and beautiful leather covers give the case a truly vintage look. In fact, don’t be surprised if everyone thinks you’re carrying a book instead of a Mac.
The BookBook Vol 2 is compatible with the 12-inch MacBook, 13-inch & 15-inch MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C). It costs $79.99 and you can get them on the company’s official store. If you own an older Mac, you can find some good older Twelve South cases on Amazon.
