iOS 11 includes a life saving feature to the iPhone called Emergency SOS. This feature allows you to press the lock button five times to contact emergency services in your country. Here’s how to add an emergency contact to iPhone to make an SOS call to emergency services.
Emergency SOS automatically detects your location and calls up your local emergency services. But it also has the ability to notify people who are listed in the Emergency Contacts (most likely your friends or family) that you are in trouble and you have contacted emergency services. This feature is also capable of sending them your current location, so they can come to help you.
In order for this notification to be sent to your emergency contacts, you first need to add them. Here’s how to add people in your contact list as an emergency contact.
